Nuclear Medicine PET CT Technologist – $5,000 Sign‑On Bonus
Location: PET Imaging of Northern Colorado – 1915 Wilmington Dr #101, Fort Collins, CO 8052.
Cardinal Health is seeking a qualified Nuclear Medicine Technologist to join our PET Imaging team.
Overview This position is located at PET Imaging of Northern Colorado. The Nuclear Medicine Technologist is critical to the overall performance and efficiency of our PET program, interacting with patients, team members, and physicians.
Responsibilities
Greet patients and families and escort through the facility.
Inject radiopharmaceuticals and perform PET/CT scans.
Verify scan orders at least 48 hours in advance.
Process images and push to PACS.
Compare scan order/scan/clinical data for accuracy and completeness.
Archive and verify to PACS & DVD daily.
Order and credit unused radiopharmaceuticals daily.
Run QC for scanning equipment and facilitate repairs, if necessary.
Perform QA on all equipment; maintain logs.
Ensure scanning equipment is in good working order.
Schedule patients and confirm appointments with preparation instructions.
Assist patients safely during position transfers.
Acquire working knowledge of PET/CT imaging; educate physicians on PET/CT.
Collaborate with Clinical Educators to develop marketing strategies.
Work with patients, physicians, nurses, clinicians, educators, and vendors.
Develop and implement procedures that improve efficiencies and reduce costs.
Enter scan data accurately into RIS‑Charge Out process.
Maintain regular attendance and punctuality.
Contribute to team effort by accomplishing related results.
Ensure all processing and reporting deadlines are met.
Perform any other functions as required by management.
Qualifications
Graduate of an accredited School of Nuclear Medicine.
Certified Nuclear Medicine Technologist (CNMT) or equivalent.
ARRT (N) or NMTCB certification required.
Current ACLS or BLS/BCLS certification preferred.
Experience with PET scans preferred.
Experience with GE PET/CT cameras preferred.
0–2 years of experience preferred.
Hourly Range $35.30 – $58.35 per hour.
