Job Summary DaVita's Integrated Kidney Care (IKC) team seeks a senior actuarial analyst to lead analysis of IKC programs, drive key business outcomes, and support value‑based care strategy across the kidney disease care continuum.
What You’ll Do
Lead actuarial analysis for IKC programs, translating data into actionable insights that inform leadership decisions and strategy.
Analyze medical/pharmacy claims and CMS revenue data to monitor experience, identify drivers of program performance, and forecast future outcomes.
Model financial scenarios and sensitivity analyses to quantify risk and uncover opportunities within VBC arrangements.
Perform detailed financial and membership reconciliations.
Research and synthesize healthcare industry trends to keep IKC at the cutting edge of population health management.
Support VBC contracting through actuarial underwriting principles to help develop and negotiate innovative contracts.
Develop and present executive‑level findings to senior leadership, communicating the story behind the data.
Build strategic relationships with internal and external partners to ensure the financial and operational success of IKC programs.
Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in Actuarial Science, Mathematics, Statistics, Economics, or a related field.
Successful completion of 2‑4 SOA examinations.
Minimum 2 years in a relevant actuarial role, preferably within healthcare.
Advanced proficiency in SQL and Microsoft Excel/PowerPoint.
Strong analytical mindset and critical‑thinking skills.
Excellent oral and written communication skills.
Self‑starter with accountability, adaptability in a fast‑paced environment, and proven execution.
