ABOUT UNIVERSAL TELEVISION ENTERTAINMENT Universal Television Entertainment is responsible for world-class television entertainment. The division programs and markets content across leading brands Bravo, NBC and Peacock, and produces over 3,000 hours of television annually through Universal Studio Group, the studio business comprising Universal Television, UCP, Universal International Studios and Universal Television Alternative Studio. These teams align NBCUniversal’s content and production expertise to inspire global audiences with television that entertains and shapes culture. Position Overview Seeking a forward-thinking Human Resources leader to join our team as a key strategic partner to senior leadership. This high-impact role will drive initiatives including workforce planning, talent strategy, change management, organization effectiveness, and cultural transformation in a fast-paced, creative, and globally connected studio environment. As a trusted advisor to senior leadership, the ideal candidate will bring deep HR expertise, strong business acumen, proven relationship-building ability, and a passion for developing high performing teams. This is a highly visible role requiring exceptional influencing skills, a collaborative mindset, and the ability to lead through complexity and change. Responsibilities

Strategic HR Leadership:

Act as a key trusted advisor to business leaders, driving organizational change, building strong relationships and influencing outcomes across diverse teams and geographies. Business Partnership:

Collaborate with leadership to align talent strategies with business goals, including organizational design, succession planning, and employee engagement. Change management:

Identify opportunities to help leaders and their teams adjust to business changes that support transformation and growth. Data driven decision making:

Leverage data insights (e.g., workforce analytics, contracts, Case IQ, surveys) to inform strategic decisions and identify opportunities for improvement. Employee Relations:

Manage complex employee relations issues including conflict resolution and organizational changes. Cross–Functional Collaboration:

Partner with HR peers and teams across Entertainment and Studio Group to ensure collaboration and organizational effectiveness. Talent Development:

Identify training opportunities, upskilling and leadership development initiatives in collaboration with Talent Development and Inclusion teams. Process improvement:

Uncover and propose opportunities for HR process improvements. Team development:

Grow, develop, and retain a strong HR team; coach and mentor to foster a culture of learning and engagement. Qualifications

Basic Requirements 10+ years of professional HR experience, with at least 5 years of direct supervisory experience. Experience in Org Development, Change Management, Workforce Planning, Employee Relations and/or Labor Relations. Knowledge of HR disciplines including employment and labor laws, employee relations, talent acquisition, leadership development, performance management, organization design and compensation philosophies. Ability to travel. Desired Qualifications Experience in media/entertainment or studio environments, ideally within a global organization. Undergraduate degree. Proven ability to develop and execute strategic HR plans aligned with business objectives. Expertise in change management, facilitation and conflict resolution. Familiar with US/UK employment law; global HR experience is a plus. Desired Characteristics Excellent interpersonal skills and client service orientation. Ability to work with all levels of an organization and with a wide range of clients. Strong project and process management skills with a track record of delivering results. Ability to manage multiple priorities and lead change. Strong business partnership skills with credibility with operating leaders. Influencing skills with deep business understanding. Ability to maintain an upbeat environment that encourages urgency, innovation, teamwork, and accountability. Additional Requirements Hybrid : This position is hybrid and requires being in the office a minimum of three days per week, increasing to four days per week starting January 5, 2026. In-office requirements may change by the company. This position is eligible for company-sponsored benefits, including medical, dental, and vision insurance, 401(k), paid leave, tuition reimbursement, and other perks.
