Medical Lab Scientist II
CommonSpirit Health is seeking a Medical Lab Scientist II to join our team at St. Anthony Hospital in Lakewood, Colorado.

Responsibilities
Performs general testing within the analytical core laboratory, including transfusion services.
Provides a high level of technical knowledge and application of that knowledge to department testing and clinical relevance.
Serves as a liaison with other laboratory departments and hospital services.
May perform phlebotomy and clinical and/or pathology specimen management duties as required.
This position serves as a department resource and assists in process improvement initiatives and department compliance with pertinent laboratory accreditation and regulatory requirements, such as CLIA, CAP, TJC, and OSHA. Consistently functions in a self-directed manner and exhibits excellent communication and complex problem-solving skills.
Job Requirements
2 year relevant laboratory work experience
Bachelor’s in Clinical laboratory, chemical or biological science required
MLS with ASCP certification, or MT with ASCP, AMT, or equivalent certification, or specialty ASCP certification required
Light work - (Exert up to 20lbs force occasionally, and/or up to 10lbs frequently)
Where You'll Work At St. Anthony Hospital, our Laboratory department is a blood bank that performs testing for our Level 1 Trauma center, as well as sister hospitals in the region. With innovative technology and instruments, our team does a vast array of inhouse testing and specialized coagulation testing. Pay Range $33.55 - $48.68 per hour
