High Voltage Account Manager Hunt Electric is looking for a skilled and experienced High Voltage Account Manager to manage client relationships, drive business growth, and ensure project success. This role will report directly to the Vice President of Business Development and Marketing, work closely with the High Voltage Account Manager, and collaborate extensively with the High Voltage and ICC teams.

Major Duties

Serve as the primary liaison between clients and internal teams in the early stage of the project.

Foster and maintain strong relationships with key accounts, ensuring client satisfaction and repeat business.

Identify new business opportunities and upselling additional services where appropriate, specifically to high voltage utility customers.

Address client concerns and troubleshooting issues proactively to maintain positive client relationships by providing regular updates.

Drive sales growth by creating a strategic, targeted approach, identifying opportunities within existing accounts, and prospecting for new clients.

Develop and present proposals, bids, and pricing strategies to secure new projects.

Analyze market trends, client needs, and competitor offers to position the company as the preferred high-voltage contractor.

Proactively create opportunities to generate pull-through work for our custom control cabinets manufacturing division. Identify and present integrated solutions involving ICC’s products to clients, promoting their use in high-voltage electrical projects.

Meet and exceed sales targets and project delivery expectations, contributing to the overall growth of the company.

Collaborate with project managers, engineers, and field teams to ensure the smooth execution of projects.

Ensure adherence to industry standards, safety regulations, and company procedures on all projects.

Provide clients with technical guidance and recommendations on high-voltage electrical solutions.

Work with the division manager, project manager, and engineering teams to develop custom solutions based on client needs and industry best practices.

Stay up to date with the latest advancements in high-voltage electrical systems, equipment, and standards.

Willingness to travel to client sites and project locations as required.

Demonstrates dependability with regular attendance and compliance to scheduled work hours.

Ability to work effectively with internal teams, such as engineers, field technicians, and senior management while contributing to a positive team environment.

Other duties or locations as assigned by Manager.

Minimum Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in electrical engineering, business, or a related field or significant industry experience.

5+ years of experience in account management or project management within the electrical or construction industry, with a focus on high-voltage systems.

Strong understanding of high-voltage electrical systems, including power distribution, substations, transformers, switchgear, and circuit breakers.

Proven ability to drive sales growth, develop relationships, and close deals in a competitive environment.

Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to effectively present technical information to clients and stakeholders.

Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to address client concerns and resolve issues efficiently.

Work Schedule This is a full‑time position with a typical working schedule of Mon – Thur 7:00am – 4:30pm and Friday 7:00am – 2:00pm.
