Radiology Technologist – Contract
Location:
Seattle, WA —
Schedule:
Monday – Friday, between 7:00 AM and 5:30 PM
About The Role We are seeking a dedicated Radiology Technologist to join our team in Seattle. The ideal candidate will bring strong technical expertise, a commitment to patient safety, and the ability to deliver high‑quality imaging services in a collaborative healthcare environment.
Responsibilities
Maintain equipment: perform routine checks, troubleshoot issues, and make minor adjustments.
Position patients correctly: adjust body placement to capture accurate diagnostic images.
Prepare patients for imaging exams: explain procedures, answer questions, and ensure patient comfort.
Must-Have Qualifications & Experience
Knowledge of anatomy and physiology to accurately pinpoint areas for radiography.
Knowledge of radiology equipment and testing.
Understanding of safety hazards common to radiology, including equipment, body mechanics, and patient movement.
Completion of a course in radiologic technology approved by the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT).
Current ARRT certification.
Current Washington State license as a Certified Radiologic Technologist.
Current BLS certification.
N‑95 fit testing completed.
Preferred Skills & Attributes
Patient positioning expertise to ensure quality imaging.
Training skills to support student technologists and co‑workers in equipment operation and procedures.
Troubleshooting ability for equipment operation and performing simple adjustments.
Strong interpersonal skills to establish and maintain effective working relationships with patients, medical staff, and the public.
