We are currently looking for a
Branch Manager
to work Monday - Friday at our Branch located at 2309 S Redwood Rd. Salt Lake City, UT. The
Branch Manager
will serve as a trusted advisor within our community-focused banking institution. This individual will be responsible for leading business development initiatives, generating commercial loans, and fostering strong relationships within the community. The Branch Manager provides strategic leadership to the branch team, emphasizes building relationships with small businesses, and ensures that loan and deposit growth aligns with profitability goals. They will oversee all aspects of branch performance, ensuring that the branch meets its financial and operational goals.
Responsibilities
Business Development: Identify and cultivate relationships with new and existing customers to expand the branch's portfolio of loans, deposits, and other financial products.
Commercial Lending: Actively pursue opportunities for commercial lending, with a focus on small business clients, to strengthen the bank's presence in the local market.
Community Involvement: Act as the face of the branch in the community by participating in local events, engaging with civic organizations, and building partnerships with community leaders.
Strategic Leadership & Financial Management: Partner with senior leadership to shape the branch's annual budget, growth targets, and overall strategy; manage the branch's P&L to ensure financial performance aligns with organizational goals.
Team Leadership: Lead, mentor, and develop branch staff to achieve high levels of performance and engagement; supervise the Banking Manager to align operations with priorities.
Client Experience and Service Excellence: Ensure the branch provides a best-in-class client experience, focusing on relationship banking, personalized service, and proactive problem-solving; oversee complex client relationships and serve as the point of escalation for high-value or strategic clients.
Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in finance, business administration, or a related field (or equivalent experience) is preferred.
Minimum 5+ years of relevant experience.
Experience in commercial lending with a focus on small business loans.
Proven experience in banking, financial services, or a similar industry, with a strong background in business development and lending.
Demonstrated ability to lead, including in financial planning, and in community engagement.
Exceptional interpersonal, communication, and problem-solving skills.
Strong analytical and decision-making capabilities, with a track record of driving financial growth and operational excellence.
Ability to build and maintain strong community relationships.
