Salary Range: $100,000.00/yr - $200,000.00/yr
Gridiron IT is seeking a skilled Appian Developer to design, develop, and maintain low-code business process applications using the Appian platform. The ideal candidate will collaborate with business stakeholders, analysts, and technical teams to deliver scalable, secure, and high-performing workflow and case management solutions.
Responsibilities
Design, develop, test, and deploy applications using the Appian low-code platform
Build and configure process models, SAIL interfaces, records, reports, and integrations
Translate business requirements into technical solutions and application designs
Integrate Appian applications with external systems using REST/SOAP APIs
Optimize application performance and ensure scalability and maintainability
Support application upgrades, patches, and platform enhancements
Participate in Agile/Scrum ceremonies including sprint planning, stand‑ups, and retrospectives
Provide documentation, technical support, and knowledge transfer as needed
Ensure applications meet security, compliance, and governance standards
Qualifications
Strong understanding of BPM, workflow automation, and case management
Experience with SAIL UI, process models, and expression rules
Familiarity with Java, SQL, XML, JSON, and web services
Experience working in Agile development environments
Strong problem‑solving and communication skills
Appian Certification (Associate, Senior, or Lead Developer)
Experience integrating with enterprise systems (CRM, ERP, databases)
Knowledge of DevOps practices and CI/CD pipelines
Experience with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, or GCP)
Prior experience in regulated environments (government, healthcare, finance)
Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field (or equivalent experience)

Compensation and Benefits Salary Range: $100,000 - $200,000. Compensation is determined by various factors, including but not limited to location, work experience, skills, education, certifications, seniority, and business needs. This range may be modified in the future.
