The R&D Data Science & Digital Health, Real-World Evidence (RWE) team is focused on generating evidence and insights from real-world data (RWD), trial data, and emerging data sources to support clinical programs and regulatory submissions. Key areas include oncology, immunology, neuroscience, and cardiopulmonary.
Key Responsibilities
Develop and maintain a portfolio of RWE projects based on RWD to provide insights for pipeline assets.
Leverage emerging scientific and technological developments to generate new research ideas, solutions, and initiatives using real-world data.
Conduct end‑to‑end RWE studies, including conceptualizing research questions, data feasibility, study design, analysis, programming, and interpretation.
Analyze and interpret data to support urgent requests from internal and external stakeholders.
Ensure quality of design, execution, and publication of real-world evidence studies and quality of models and tools.
Create study protocols, statistical analysis plans, and statistical programming deliverables.
Clearly articulate highly technical methods and results to diverse audiences and partners to drive decision‑making.
Ensure RWE generation aligns with regulatory requirements and scientific standards.
Required Qualifications
Ph.D. degree, or master’s degree in a quantitative field (e.g., epidemiology, biostatistics, statistics, bioinformatics, or similar).
Relevant experience (2+ years for Ph.D., 4+ years for master’s) within biopharma companies, RWE consulting firms, or other relevant healthcare industries.
Extensive hands‑on experience with data engineering and data analysis.
Proven track record of consistently delivering high‑impact data science projects.
Expert proficiency in R and SQL.
Excellent interpersonal, communication, and presentation skills.
Preferred Qualifications
Experience delivering data science projects using predictive technologies such as machine learning, deep learning, or forecasting.
Familiarity with drug discovery and clinical development processes, with exposure to one or more therapeutic areas: oncology, immunology, neuroscience, or specialty ophthalmology.

Pay and Benefits The anticipated base pay range for this position is $115,000 – $197,800. Employees are eligible for company‑sponsored benefits including medical, dental, vision, life insurance, short‑ and long‑term disability, business accident insurance, and group legal insurance. Retirement plan (pension and 401(k)) and other benefits such as vacation, sick time, holiday pay, work‑personal and family time, parental leave, condolence leave, caregiver leave, volunteer leave, and military spouse time‑off are offered per company policy.
