VP of IT Technology Solutions (Supply Chain) Salt Lake City, Utah Direct Placement $175K - $219K + bonus annually DOE

Summary The VP of IT – Technology Solutions leads the development and execution of technology strategies that support Supply Chain and Logistics. This role guides major initiatives, oversees roadmaps, aligns business and IT priorities, and drives digital capabilities. The leader will manage teams, partner with executives, and ensure technology investments deliver strong operational and strategic value.

Responsibilities

Develop and maintain technology strategies and roadmaps for Supply Chain & Logistics.

Prioritize and oversee major technology initiatives, ensuring alignment with business goals.

Partner with executive leadership to coordinate priorities and communicate progress.

Lead transformation efforts involving infrastructure, security, analytics, software implementation, and system support.

Manage project budgets, resource capacity, and delivery performance.

Build strong relationships across the organization and maintain transparent reporting.

Ensure adherence to SDLC standards and drive continuous improvement.

Develop and mentor high-performing technology project, program, and product management teams.

Requirements

Bachelor's degree in IT, Computer Science, Engineering, Business, or related field (Master's preferred).

10+ years of IT/technology experience, including large-scale initiatives.

5+ years leading product, project, or program management teams.

Familiarity with Agile or Scrum methodologies.

Strong executive communication and stakeholder management skills.

Ability to build technology strategies, roadmaps, and business cases.

Proactive, collaborative, and comfortable working in fast-paced environments.

Bonus Skills

Experience in food & beverage, Client, or manufacturing.

Portfolio, program, or PMO leadership background.

Knowledge of distribution or logistics operations.

Understanding of analytics and reporting tools within supply chain.
