Licensed Optician - General Manager role at National Vision Inc. (America's Best is part of National Vision). Base pay range
$62,400.00/yr - $87,318.00/yr Responsibilities
Oversee daily operations of the store, including personnel management and inventory control. Hire, supervise and train all store associates. Motivate associates to exceed performance standards. Ensure the highest level of customer service and maintain customer satisfaction. Monitor and achieve profit, sales and performance goals (e.g., review the P&L) and compare results against budgeted targets. Ensure store promotions, advertising, and visual merchandising are in place and that all associates and doctors are aware of current promotions. Interface and maintain professional relations with the doctor, other National Vision associates and customers. Investigate and compile competitive information and provide daily/weekly statistics to the District Manager and corporate office. Qualifications
Ability to read, analyze and interpret general business periodicals, technical procedures or governmental regulations. Ability to effectively present information and respond to questions from groups of managers, clients, customers, and the general public. Ability to calculate figures and amounts. Ability to define problems, collect data, establish facts and draw valid conclusions. Maintain license as required by state. Management experience in retail and/or optical industry. ABO & NCLE Certified. Proficient computer skills. Company description
