Base pay range:
$18.00/hr - $22.00/hr
Job Description Eurofins Environment Testing Southwest is seeking an Assistant Project Manager for our Tustin location. The Assistant Project Manager will support client services and the Project Manager to assist in communicating client expectations, addressing data or quality concerns, and fostering and developing client relationships in support of the laboratory mission.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
Work within the LIMS to create and edit EDDs
Maintain regular attendance and punctuality to support client service
Review daily work order logins and acknowledgements
Maintain customer database in LIMS, ensuring projects are updated and all information is accurate and useful
Assist the Project Manager in setting up projects, bottling orders, and invoices
Attend department meetings and participate fully
Answer phones when needed and back up other assistants
Conduct all activities safely and efficiently, aligning with company health and safety policy and Eurofins quality standards
Perform other duties as assigned
Qualifications
BS in a science field or working toward a degree
Demonstrated commitment to client availability and timely response
Ongoing focus on client satisfaction by meeting turnaround times and managing personal backlog
Ability to work with the Project Manager to communicate client expectations, data, or quality concerns
Organized and able to multi-task
Basic technical understanding of laboratory, regulatory requirements, and method requirements
Basic understanding of laboratory business and inter‑departmental relationships
Judgment and initiative in resolving issues and making recommendations
Excellent verbal and written communication skills
Attention to detail and good documentation skills
Proficiency with Word, Excel, and office software
Authorization to work in the United States indefinitely without restriction or sponsorship
Professional working proficiency in English (reading, writing, speaking)
Additional Information The compensation range for this position is $18.00 - $22.00 per hour, depending on level of experience.
Position is full‑time and candidates must be able to work one of the following shifts, with possible overtime and weekends as needed:
Monday – Friday, 8:30 am – 5:30 pm
Monday – Friday, 10:00 am – 7:00 pm
