What You Will Do
Provide exceptional nursing care for patients ranging from stable to critically ill
Identify complex problems, anticipate changes, and implement interventions to improve outcomes
Develop individualized care plans that guide the entire care team
Serve as a patient advocate, communicating clinical concerns with confidence
Document patient care integrating assessments, disease processes, and treatment plans
Coordinate care to ensure safety, quality, and an exceptional patient experience
Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team using contemporary models of nursing care
Support national patient safety goals, quality metrics, and regulatory requirements
Educate and mentor new staff, lead orientation and in‑service programs
Take an active role in unit management, quality improvement, and committee work
What We Are Looking For Associate’s degree in nursing required, BSN preferred. Associate‑prepared nurses must enroll in a BSN program within 12 months and complete within 4 years.
Prior Clinical Nursing Experience Preferred RN license in the District of Columbia required; compact license not accepted. CPR BLS NRP certification for healthcare providers within 90 days of hire.
