As one of nine clinical divisions in the Department, the Division of Vascular Surgery is comprised of 12 faculty members who deliver comprehensive clinical services to provide exemplary care for patients with lower extremity wounds and podiatric needs. This position is offered as an Open Rank, Open Track Academic appointment (0.5 FTE to 1.0 FTE), with rank and track determined by the candidate’s qualifications and experience. The successful candidate will collaborate closely with multidisciplinary teams including vascular surgery, orthopedics, wound care, endocrinology, infectious disease, and primary care to optimize outcomes for patients with complex foot and ankle disorders, diabetic limb salvage needs, and wound care challenges. Faculty in the Division are expected to embrace all three missions of the department and school of medicine: clinical care, education, and research. The incumbent will lead clinical and administrative operations of the Podiatry Section, with a principal focus on advancing our multidisciplinary Limb Salvage Program. Responsibilities include oversight of all aspects of podiatric care, encompassing both surgical and non‑surgical management of foot and ankle pathology, diabetic wound care, and limb preservation strategies. Candidates should demonstrate a commitment to the education of medical students, residents, and fellows. Research engagement is highly encouraged.
