Overview This position assists imaging techs with transporting patients to and from the Radiology department, and assists the imaging techs with tasks. It is full-time, days, 36 hours per week.
Responsibilities Providing technical and clerical assistance in imaging to include: patient flow activities, patient screening, assisting patients, maintaining supply, and assisting technologists as needed. Ensures that established protocols and techniques appropriate to age-specific needs are utilized for adult and geriatric populations.
Qualifications
Minimum Education Required: High school graduate or equivalent
Minimum Experience Required: 6 months of experience in a healthcare setting
BLS certification required
Certification from a Nursing Assistant or Patient Care Technician program preferred
One Year Of Patient Care Experience Preferred
