This role is responsible for implementing and supporting project management processes across the organization. The Project Manager will establish and maintain project performance metrics, promote adoption of standard project management practices, and support continuous improvement initiatives. This position supports project planning, project initiation, post‑project reviews, portfolio reporting, and the use of project management and collaboration technologies. Note: This is not a technical position. Key Responsibilities
Project & Process Management Analyze current systems and procedures to identify opportunities for improvement. Manage one or two process improvement or integration projects simultaneously. Own project deliverables, plans, status reports, and requirements documentation. Support project planning sessions and post‑project reviews, providing practical guidance to enhance project performance. Consolidate project status updates into program‑level and senior management reports. Define processes and requirements to support selection and use of project management technologies. Assist project teams in the use of Microsoft Office Suite and other collaboration tools. Cross‑Functional Collaboration Work with multiple internal departments on a wide range of project management and analytical efforts. Resolve project issues by partnering with team members, customers, and stakeholders. Mentor junior project leaders and share project management best practices. Quality Responsibilities Build quality into all aspects of work by maintaining compliance with applicable quality system requirements. Qualifications
Required
Bachelor’s degree with 5+ years of experience, or MBA with 3+ years of experience. Experience estimating project effort and resource needs using standard tools and techniques. Ability to prepare project plans, schedules, and budgets using tools such as Microsoft Project. Experience directing project execution, assigning tasks, tracking schedules, identifying risks, and developing contingency plans. Strong understanding of project quality methodologies and ability to execute quality plans. Excellent communication, leadership, problem‑solving, and interpersonal skills. Ability to prepare status reports and participate in project update meetings. Experience mentoring junior project managers. Commitment to ongoing professional development in project management. Preferred
Project Management certification (e.g., PMP). Medical device industry experience (highly desirable; top consideration). Experience with project management in regulated environments.
