Role Description This is a full‑time, on‑site General Manager role based in Ventura, CA. The General Manager will oversee day‑to‑day operations, ensuring exceptional guest experiences, managing staff, and maintaining a positive, productive environment. Responsibilities include leading hiring and training efforts, supervising inventory control, and ensuring compliance with company policies and standards of quality and efficiency. The role also involves driving revenue growth, analyzing performance metrics, and actively engaging with staff and guests to promote a hospitable and welcoming culture.
Qualifications
Leadership and Team Management: Strong leadership skills with the ability to motivate, mentor, and manage diverse teams effectively
Operations and Financial Acumen: Solid understanding of restaurant operations, inventory management, and budgeting; ability to analyze and act on financial reports to drive growth
Customer Service Expertise: Proven commitment to delivering exceptional guest experiences and fostering positive relationships
Communication and Organizational Skills: Strong verbal and written communication, with excellent organizational and multitasking abilities
Problem‑Solving and Decision‑Making: Capable of making sound decisions, resolving conflicts, and addressing challenges with a proactive approach
Flexibility and Time Management: Ability to adapt to a dynamic environment and manage time effectively in a high‑pressure setting
Experience: Previous experience in restaurant or hospitality management roles is highly preferred
Education: Bachelor’s degree in business administration, hospitality management, or a related field is a plus
