Summary Of The Job Lead FNBO's technology strategy and execution for the Operational Data Store (ODS) team, delivering real-time customer, account, and transaction data through high-performance APIs and database infrastructure. Drive technical excellence, innovation, and delivery of scalable technology solutions that support business objectives. Foster a high-performance engineering culture while ensuring code quality, system reliability, and team growth.

About This Role Key Responsibilities

Lead, manage, mentor, and grow technology team supporting the Operational Data Store (ODS) team

Collaborate with Architects, Tech Leads, and Product Owners to deliver projects on time

Drive architectural decisions and technical standards for microservices, APIs and data infrastructure to ensure scalability, maintainability, performance and compliance

Consistently deliver results for a system critical to the functioning of many of the FNBO applications

Continually refine and improve engineering practices including such things as CI/CD, code review, testing, and deployment

Ensure operational excellence and system reliability through proactive monitoring, incident response, capacity planning, and maintenance of SLAs for the ODS product

Establish a collaborative work environment that fosters autonomy, transparency, innovation, and personal growth fostering a fail fast and learn fast environment

Manage technology budgets, forecasts, and vendor relationships

Stay current on emerging technologies and engineering best practices

Required Qualifications The Ideal Candidate for This Role:

Master's or bachelor's degree in computer science, computer engineering, information systems or a related field of study, or equivalent experience.

7+ years technology leadership experience, including 2+ years managing full-stack development and operations for enterprise applications

Proven success managing high-performing technology teams

Strong communication skills and ability to translate technical concepts to business stakeholders

Strategic thinking with demonstrated ability to align technology with business outcomes

Experience with DevOps principles and software delivery lifecycle

Preferred Experience

Java Spring Boot applications and AWS cloud technologies

AWS EKS/Kubernetes orchestration

Data governance and quality management

Real-time data processing and API management

Banking or Financial Services industry experience

Candidates must possess unrestricted work authorization and not require future sponsorship.

Compensation Compensation range (base pay): $133,975.00 - $227,758.00.

This role may have a specific starting pay within this range. Final compensation offer to candidate may vary from posted hiring range based upon work experience, education, and/or skill level.
