Job Description American Traveler is seeking an experienced RN with Charge Nurse background for a night shift Emergency Department position in California requiring an active CA RN license.
Responsibilities
Work in the Emergency Department as a Charge RN
Night shift from 7:00pm to 7:30am
13-week contract position
36 hours per week scheduled
Responsible for providing leadership on night shifts in the Emergency Department
Work independently and support the ED nursing team during night operations
No COVID-19 vaccination requirement listed
Housing resources are available for travelers, including options in Arcata, McKinleyville, Eureka, Blue Lake, Westhaven, and Samoa
First-time travelers are welcome to apply
Requirements
Active California RN license required
Minimum 4 years of RN experience
Previous Charge Nurse experience required
Current certifications: BLS, ACLS, and PALS
Proof of negative TB screen within 12 months prior to contract start
