Feldman, Kramer & Monaco is seeking a Medicaid Paralegal to join our firm. The ideal candidate excels in a fast-paced environment, organized and detail-oriented.
Responsibilities
Preparing and submitting Medicaid applications for Institutional and Community-Based applications
Maintaining cases and deadlines required by the Medicaid Agency
Assisting clients to obtain documentation
Communication with financial institutions to obtain documentation
Assist Attorney(s) with clients, answering telephone calls and scheduling appointments
Required Experience/Skills
Two (2) years' experience in the preparation and filing of Institutional applications and Community-Based Home Care applications
Knowledge of Income and Resource guidelines, Promissory Notes and Manage Long Term Care Agency procedures
The ability to interact with families that pertain to the Medicaid application process
The ability to multi-task and work well under pressure to adhere to Medicaid deadlines
Proficient in Microsoft Word and Time Matters
Must be a team player
Full Time role
MUST HAVE AT LEAST 3 YEARS EXPERIENCE AS A MEDICAID COORDINATOR/SPECIALIST TO BE CONSIDERED
NOTE: This position is a 35 hour work week.
Salary: $40.00 - $45.00 per hour
