Sales Representative II - Brooklyn (Bilingual Spanish) Join MetroPlusHealth as a Sales Representative II. This role is located in Brooklyn, NY and requires bilingual Spanish. The base pay for this position is $60,000.00 per year.

Scope Of Role & Responsibilities

Educate and assist qualified individuals in applying for coverage through the NY State of Health Marketplace, Medicaid, and Child Health Plus (CHP).

Assist consumers with calling the NY State of Health Customer Services Department for enrollment and documentation verification.

Conduct public education activities to raise awareness of available Qualified Health Plans (QHPs) within the Marketplace.

Explain potential eligibility for government programs, federal health insurance premium tax credits, cost‑sharing reductions, and risk factors to consumers.

Describe the features and benefits of health insurance coverage, including cost‑sharing mechanisms like deductibles, co‑pays, and co‑insurance.

Describe the different metal tiers within the Marketplace and how benefits vary based on income.

Assist consumers with submitting documents and information to the Marketplace via scan, fax, or mail.

Assist existing members with recertification when applicable.

Assist consumers with premium payment submission when required.

Regulatory/Compliance

Secure and safeguard confidential information to prevent PHI from unauthorized personnel.

Provide culturally and linguistically appropriate information to the population served by the Marketplace.

Participate in all trainings, updates, webinars, and forums necessary to carry out responsibilities.

Mandated to meet annual Marketplace Facilitated Enroller (MFE) recertification requirements.

Keep abreast of all industry and regulatory updates related to the ACA and Marketplace.

Maintain discretion regarding business‑related files, reports, and conversations per State and Federal statutes and regulations.

Tactical Tasks

Maintain daily tracking tool for detailed representative activity.

Monitor all applications in personal dashboard to ensure timely and accurate follow‑through.

Conduct daily review of personal dashboard to address potential leads.

Maintain consistent supply of educational and product collateral.

Keep abreast of Marketplace functionalities to manage individual accounts.

Record all follow‑up dispositions in the lead management program in a timely and accurate manner.

Data‑enter applicant demographic, enrollment site, and PCP selection data in the enrollment program at initial encounter.

Compliance with all conflict‑of‑interest standards and regulations.

Other tasks as required to satisfy role expectations.

Required to work evenings and weekends.

Required Education, Training & Professional Experience

High School Diploma or GED.

Minimum of three (3) years of sales experience.

Prior public speaking experience.

Licensure & Certification

Complete and pass NY State of Health approved training program and become certified.

Annual recertification as an MFE.
