About the Role Bohler’s office in Melville, NY, is looking for an Entry Level Civil Engineer specializing in Wastewater Design. We are seeking a motivated individual who is eager to learn, grow, and make a positive impact. In this collaborative and fast‑paced environment, you will work alongside engineers, designers, and project managers to bring complex land development and wastewater projects to fruition. This role will help you develop the technical and design expertise needed to build a strong foundation for your career.
What You’ll Do
Collaborate with team members on challenging land development and wastewater design projects in a fun, fast‑paced environment
Hone your technical site design knowledge and hands‑on plan preparation experience
Assist with wastewater collection system design, pump station layouts, and utility coordination
Design site plans for recognizable brand‑name clients across a wide range of industries
Partner with your manager to tailor your career path toward your professional goals

What You’ll Bring
0–1 year of experience in civil engineering, wastewater, or related design work
The ability to learn quickly, communicate effectively, and maintain a strong work ethic
A passion for design and creative problem‑solving
A Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Civil Engineering or a related field
Experience with AutoCAD Civil 3D is a plus—if you don’t have it, we’ll help you get it
Internship or prior exposure to wastewater treatment, collection systems, or pump station design preferred
Pay Transparency Actual compensation within this range will be determined based on factors such as skills, qualifications, and experience. The base pay range for this role is $68,000 – $78,000 per year.
