Child and Adolescent Psychiatrist

to join the

Department of Psychiatry and Behavioral Sciences, Section of Child and Adolescent Psychiatry . This position will be primarily based at the Autism Assessment, Research, Treatment and Services (AARTS) Center, with a portion of time at Rush Behavioral Medicine’s West Campus. Qualified candidates will be a Physician who has completed a Child Psychiatry fellowship. Experience working with neurodevelopmental disorders (NDD) and autism spectrum disorder (ASD) populations and/or clinical research experience is preferred.

The AARTS Center is the region’s only comprehensive, lifespan autism center and is dedicated to addressing the unmet needs of individuals with neurodevelopmental differences and their families.

Responsibilities This position is focused on direct patient care for individuals with neurodevelopmental differences across the lifespan, including specialized diagnostic evaluations and psychopharmacological treatment. The faculty member will also supervise trainees in clinical settings and be part of the core faculty for the Child and Adolescent Psychiatry fellowship training program.

The successful candidate would be encouraged to participate in research projects, local and national organized medicine, community education, as well as academic presentations of clinical and research related work. Benefits Pay Range: $210,000 - $308,000

The position offers competitive salary, comprehensive benefits and an academic appointment commensurate with experience. Rush offers competitive total compensation that includes base pay, benefits, and other incentive programs for employees. Opportunities for increased compensation based on exceeding productivity targets. Additional compensation may include sign‑on and retention bonuses and relocation allowances.
