Seeking a highly qualified midlevel associate with 3‑5 years of law firm experience and excellent academic credentials to join our Employee Benefits practice across Philadelphia, New York, Washington DC, Chicago, Pittsburgh, Silicon Valley, or San Francisco. The successful applicant will advise on employee benefits and executive compensation issues in M&A transactions, and design, draft, and operate executive employment, non‑qualified deferred compensation, and equity compensation plans and agreements. Bar membership is required. Responsibilities Advise clients on employee benefits and executive compensation matters in M&A transactions Design, draft, and implement executive employment, non‑qualified deferred compensation, and equity compensation plans and agreements Provide guidance on regulatory compliance, plan administration, and plan design best practices Qualifications 3–5 years of law firm experience in employee benefits or executive compensation practices Bar admission required Excellent academic credentials (J.D. from a top law school or equivalent) Strong analytical and drafting skills, with a track record of advising on complex employee benefit and compensation structures Compensation & Benefits For positions in New York, California, or Washington DC the salary range is $225,000 to $435,000. Base salary will be determined during the interview process and may vary based on experience, expertise, and market factors. Compensation may include a full range of medical, financial, and other benefits (including 401(k) eligibility and paid‑time‑off such as vacation, sick time, and parental leave).
