Job Duties and Responsibilities (Essential Functions): The Senior Designer(s) will take the lead in one or more of the following areas, working together to cover all areas: Report project progress to Art Director and Project Manager Packaging and visual development of branding for all SKUs in a set Creating or directing the file setup for special print techniques for packaging Assigning and redistributing work when necessary to other creative team members Coordinating with the Localization Teams and local Creative Team to facilitate handoff of files and a smooth localization workflow Review files, ensuring they meet print quality standards and uphold established branding rules Assist with maintaining new branding guidelines, and help the wider team adapt to them as directed by the Art Director, Packaging Direct team members assigned to projects you are leading with the handoff of final proofing production files for print Lead visual execution of assets that will assist the creative marketing team, such as directing 3D packaging renders Assist Art Director, Packaging with onboarding new team members to ensure they are using best practices for files and branding Participate in regular Creative meetings with other stakeholders Lead in setting up and proofing production files for print Card Development and Typesetting if directed by the Art Director, Cards TCG This is what you can score highly with
Knowledge/Skills/Abilities: Strong skills with Adobe Creative Suite, including Illustrator, Photoshop, InDesign Strong print production skills, working with overprinting and setting up press-ready PDFs Good typesetting skills Familiarity with Localization processes Familiarity with complex printing techniques such as white underprints, spot foils, etc. Detail-oriented and can self-manage the moving parts of an evolving creative pipeline Ability to meet tight deadlines and inspire others to do the same Finds solutions to creative challenges Collaborative and active team player Experience: 5+ years working on trading cards, collectible cards, or merchandise Employee Purchase Program
