Physician - Radiation Oncology
Job Details:
• Short-term coverage needed for February 5 and 6, 2024 • Regular hours are weekdays 0700 to 1500 for inpatient consultation • Provider must be on-site during scheduled hours and radiation treatments • Responsibilities include seeing patients in office, overseeing scheduled radiation treatments, and consulting on inpatients as needed • Documentation required for new consults, follow-up visits, treatment planning, and on-treatment weekly visits • Very limited on-call requirements - emergent consultations occur approximately 1-2 times per year • Board certification or eligibility required • Must hold active Pennsylvania medical license • ABLS, ACLS, ATLS, and BLS certifications required • Experience preferred with various brachytherapy techniques including intracavitary, interstitial, and vascular/endovascular • Preferred skills include experience with Linear Accelerator, Rapid Arc/VMAT, Electrons, Tomotherapy, and Superficial/Orthovoltage • Experience with various techniques preferred: Conventional/Conformal Therapy, IMRT, IGRT, SBRT, SRS, and specialized treatments • Treatment planning experience preferred with conventional planning, beam shaping, 3D CRT, IMRT, and image fusion techniques • Estimated credentialing timeframe is 10 days • Facility will arrange lodging accommodations • Nearest airports are Latrobe or Pittsburgh
