Locums Psychiatry Opportunity - Memphis, TNAssignment Details
  • Start Date: Decemenr 29, 2025
  • End Date: March 29, 2026
  • Can commit to a 3 month assignment
  • Schedule: Monday-Friday, 8 AM-5 PM
  • Call Requirements:
  • Potential weeknight call
  • Possible 1 weekend per month (TBD)
Provider Type Needed
  • Preferred: Psychiatrist (MD/DO)
  • Acceptable: Psychiatric Nurse Practitioner (NP)
Licenses & Certifications
  • Required Certifications:
  • BLS
  • Handle With Care
  • State License: Tennessee license (or ability to obtain-confirm with facility) Clinical Setting
    • Facility Type: Inpatient Psychiatric Facility
    • Patient Ages: Adult & Geriatric (18+)
    • Case Types:
    • Acute Adult Inpatient
    • Sub-Acute Adult Inpatient
    Duties & Expectations
    • Daily rounding on adult-geriatric patients
    • Participate in treatment team meetings: Mon / Wed / Fri ( 1 hour each)
    • Manage solo case load
    • Complete all documentation
    • See both new and existing patients
    • EMR: WellSky
    Workload
    • Daily Census: 20-30 patients/day
    Support Staff
    • NPs
    • Social Workers / Clinical Staff
    • Works alongside Medical Director
