Backend Developer with Kotlin and Java - MHP 2540
Work Model: Hybrid ( 3 days onsite): San Diego, CA or Mountain View, CA
We are hiring skilled Backend Developers to build scalable, secure, and high-performance backend systems. You will be part of a high-impact engineering team working on modern distributed systems using Kotlin, Java, AWS, and Kubernetes. This is an excellent opportunity to work with a product-driven team solving real-world customer problems at scale.
Required Skills
- Proficient in Kotlin and Java , with hands-on experience in backend application development.
- Strong knowledge of AWS cloud services and experience in deploying and managing applications on AWS.
- Solid understanding and practical experience with Kubernetes .
- Experience with microservices architecture, RESTful APIs, and asynchronous processing.
- Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines, monitoring tools, and modern development workflows.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to take ownership of features end-to-end.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience working in fintech or product-based environments.
- Familiarity with GraphQL, event-driven architecture, or serverless frameworks.
- Exposure to Terraform, Helm, or GitOps practices.
- Strong communication skills and the ability to work effectively in a remote, distributed team.
