Job Description

The Assistant Project Manager - Employee Owned GC will be responsible for:

  • Collaborate with the PX to plan, execute, and close construction projects.
  • Assist in developing and maintaining project plans, schedules, and budgets.
  • Coordinate with subcontractors, suppliers, and vendors to ensure timely delivery of materials and services.
  • Assist in monitoring project progress, identifying issues, and implementing solutions to keep projects on track.
  • Prepare and maintain project documentation, including RFIs, submittals, change orders, and meeting minutes.
  • Support the preparation of project status reports and presentations for clients and stakeholders.
  • Assist in ensuring compliance with safety regulations and quality standards.
  • Contribute to project financial management, including budget tracking and cost control.
  • Participate in regular project meetings and communicate project updates to team members.
  • Comfortable in client-facing meetings - shows high potential as a future PM

The Successful Applicant

The Assistant Project Manager - Employee Owned GC should have:

  • 2-5 years of relevant APM experience at a Commercial General Contractor
  • Motivated junior construction professional capable of keeping up in fast-paced environment and does well in client-facing situations
  • Forward-thinking with the desire to continue learning and growing
  • Bachelor's Degree in a construction-related field
  • Stand-out communication skills | Verbal & Written
  • Commercial interiors, healthcare, and/or life science project experience is ideal
