Medicus has partnered with a leading facility in eastern North Carolina that has an opening for a Cardiovascular Surgery Nurse Practitioner to provide locum coverage.
About the Opening: Schedule: 6:30a-7p or 6:30p-7a Setting: 16-bed cardiovascular ICU Required Procedures: Central and arterial lines, chest tube placement and removal, thoracentesis, intra-aortic balloon pump removal, Swan-Ganz placement, bronchoscopy, pacing wire removal, and feeding tube placement Team Structure: 5 academic intensivists and 6 APPs EMR: Epic Must be board-certified Paid travel & expenses During your time off, walk, bike, or jog the South Tar River Greenway, explore a free art museum and nearby galleries, and cheer for Division I college sports alongside energetic crowds.
