Overview

Join our team as a hands-on Technical Architect and drive the architectural vision, strategy, and execution for our next-generation Supply Chain Planning (SCP) platform. In this pivotal leadership role, you will combine deep technical expertise with a strategic outlook to deliver scalable, performant, and cloud-native solutions using Java, Spring Boot, and Microservices.

Responsibilities

  • Define, evolve, and own the technical architecture of our SCP platform leveraging Java, Spring Boot, and Microservices within a cloud-native ecosystem.
  • Lead architecture governance by ensuring design excellence, scalability, performance, and security across distributed modules.
  • Collaborate closely with product leadership to align architectural direction with business goals and product strategy.
  • Mentor and guide software architects, technical leads, and engineers globally on modern distributed systems and software engineering best practices.
  • Champion DevSecOps, CI/CD automation, and containerization using Docker and Kubernetes, advancing a cloud-first engineering culture.
  • Evaluate and recommend emerging technologies, frameworks, and design patterns relevant to enterprise-scale systems.
  • Lead comprehensive design reviews, proof-of-concepts (PoCs), and deep-dive architecture sessions for complex technical decisions.
  • Serve as a key technical advisor in customer engagements, supporting solution architecture and performance optimization.

Required Skills and Qualifications

  • Extensive hands-on experience with Java, Spring Boot, and building Microservices architectures.
  • Strong expertise in CI/CD pipelines, containerization (Docker), and orchestration (Kubernetes).
  • Proficiency in monitoring and observability tools such as Grafana.
  • Solid understanding of API Gateway management and cloud-native application development.
  • Familiarity with DevSecOps principles and Agile software delivery methodologies.
  • Outstanding written and verbal communication skills with a passion for clear, effective collaboration.
  • Demonstrated ability to lead and influence technical teams in a fast-paced, innovative environment.

Minimum Requirements

  • 13+ years of progressive software development experience, including 7+ years in enterprise architecture roles.
  • Deep expertise in Java, Spring (Boot, Cloud), J2EE, REST APIs, and Microservices Architecture.
  • Hands-on experience with containerization (Docker), orchestration (Kubernetes), and Google cloud services.
  • Solid understanding of event-driven architecture, domain-driven design (DDD), and system integration patterns.
  • Ability to influence and collaborate with global engineering teams and C-level stakeholders.
  • Proven leadership in driving end-to-end architecture for high-volume, mission-critical platforms.
  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related technical field.
  • Prior experience in Supply Chain Planning or Enterprise Software for Software/Retail/Logistics.

Preferred Skills

  • Prior experience in Supply Chain Planning or Enterprise Software for Software/Retail/Logistics.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Previous experience as a Director or Lead Architect in enterprise SaaS or Supply Chain domains.
  • Hands-on experience with Google Cloud Platform or equivalent major cloud providers.
  • Track record of driving technical excellence and engineering maturity across distributed teams.
