Assignment
Our Utility Client in Brooklyn, NY is looking for an ArcGIS/ArcFM Developer/Support Analyst for a 12+ month REMOTE role. Must be local to go onsite 1 time a month.
Provide development and technical support (1st, 2nd or Tier 3 Level) to the ArcGIS and ArcFM based Enterprise GIS system and applications.
- Take up development for minor enhancements using Python, Angular JS, ArcGIS Javascript API, ASP .net (C#).
- Support Landbase applications including new development and troubleshooting requests.
- Deploy ArcGIS Enterprise (Portal and Server) and administer ArcGIS server sites.
- System monitoring and performance tuning of the systems.
- Publish services and administer user roles and privileges.
- Coordinate with other teams like server support, security, DBA etc.
- Support hours shift: Be flexible from 9 AM up to 9 PM EST and weekend on a rotational base.
Required Skills / Experience
- 5-10 years of experience in administration, support, and development of ArcGIS applications.
- 5-10 years of experience in administrating and supporting ArcFM applications.
- Development and coding experience using Python, Angular JS, ArcGIS Javascript API, .Net (C#).
- Experience in deploying ArcGIS Enterprise (Portal and Server) and administering ArcGIS server sites.
- System monitoring and performance tuning of the systems.
- Publish services and administer user roles and privileges.
- Ability to coordinate with other teams like server support, security, DBA etc.
- Understanding of requirements and ability to support team and share best practices/lessons learned.
- Provide status of tickets to the client SME.
- Troubleshooting and problem resolution for issues reported by end users of the enterprise applications.
Additional Skills
- Utility Experience (Preferred): Leverage utility industry experience to enhance GIS solutions and contribute to industry-specific initiatives.
- Windows servers knowledge and experience.
- FME Experience: Work closely with FME Suite for GIS Landbase activities, ensuring accuracy and efficiency.
Technical Skills: Must Have
- Account administration / troubleshooting.
- Administration and testing of Enterprise GIS and Database Projects.
- Application Administration and Support Analyst.
- ArcFM.
- ArcGIS Desktop.
