Position Overview
As a Senior Tax Analyst, you will work on challenging projects that directly impact our clients while collaborating with experienced leaders in a dynamic environment.
Responsibilities
- Prepare federal, state & local income tax returns, federal and state tax estimates, extensions, and forecasting
- Utilize advanced corporate tax knowledge and understanding to support the tax compliance and tax provision process
- Review and prepare complex corporate, federal, and state tax returns
- Demonstrate understanding of ASC 740 and ability to prepare income tax accrual calculations
- Audit quarterly estimated tax payments and extensions prepared by staff
- Demonstrate understanding of tax return filing requirements for foreign operations
- Conduct federal and state tax research and draft/review memorandums to support tax return filing positions and special projects to minimize tax expense
- Remain current on developments and changes in tax law and accounting procedures
Qualifications Sought
- Bachelor’s degree in accounting or related field
- 2+ years of corporate income tax prep experience in corporate, public accounting, or professional services settings
- Knowledge of corporate income tax provisions and/or preparation of consolidated federal and state tax returns
- Proficiency with automated tax processing systems and online tax research tools such as ONESOURCE, CCH, RIA, and BNA
- Excellent advisory and compliance capabilities
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills and the ability to articulate complex information
- This is a hybrid position that requires working in the Florham Park, NJ office a minimum of three days per week (Tuesdays, Wednesdays, and Thursdays) and/or at local client sites as business requires
Compensation
The salary range for this position is $82,000-$96,000, based on experience, qualifications, and internal equity.
