KPMG is seeking a Manager, Tax - iTaxTech E-Invoicing to join the State and Local Tax (SALT) practice. The role involves delivering global indirect tax solutions, including e-invoicing and digital reporting, and leading project implementations with ERP systems or third‑party vendors.

Responsibilities

  • Provide excellent client-facing service to multinational companies for global indirect tax reporting needs, including e-invoicing and digital reporting.
  • Lead end-to-end project implementations with native ERP solutions or third-party vendors, including transaction analysis, regulatory analysis, business requirements analysis, system readiness assessments, and vendor selection.
  • Prepare and deliver global tax reporting training presentations for external and internal audiences.
  • Aid external vendor relationships with key business partners.
  • Support practice marketing and business development efforts; assist in preparing responses to client proposals.
  • Assist Tax Leadership in engagement administration, engagement management, and client billing.
  • Identify and develop new and existing client and internal relationships.

Qualifications

  • Minimum five years of experience implementing indirect tax technology solutions.
  • Bachelor’s degree in business, accounting, or related field from an accredited college/university.
  • Prior experience with SAP, Oracle, PeopleSoft, Workday, and/or similar ERP applications (tax modules such as AP/PO, A/R, G/L).
  • Experience with tax technology solutions such as Edicom, Sovos, Vertex, SAP DRC, Pagero, or similar.
  • Professional designations listed (CPA, ENR AGT, JD/LLM, etc.) or employer-approved equivalent; note that many designations are listed as examples and may require certification transfer or attainment per policy.
  • Deep understanding of e-invoicing processes, systems, and global compliance requirements.
  • Understanding of key indirect tax processes and data drivers with a broad industry background (retail, financial services, manufacturing, telecommunications).
