Procurement Specialist

Position Summary We are seeking a proactive and detail-driven Procurement Specialist to support our growing operations in College Station. This role plays a critical part in sourcing and acquiring materials, equipment, and services essential to biotech and pharmaceutical development. While prior industry experience is a plus, we welcome candidates with strong procurement skills from other sectors who are eager to learn and grow in a regulated, science-driven environment. Key Responsibilities Source and evaluate suppliers for lab equipment, raw materials, and specialized services Negotiate pricing, terms, and contracts to ensure cost-effective procurement Manage purchase orders and coordinate timely delivery with vendors and internal teams Collaborate with R&D, manufacturing, and quality assurance departments to understand procurement needs Maintain accurate records of purchases, vendor performance, and compliance documentation Qualifications Bachelor's degree in Business, Supply Chain Management, or related field preferred but not required. Minimum 3 years of procurement or purchasing experience Strong negotiation, communication, and analytical skills Familiarity with biotech/pharma supply chains, GMP standards, or a regulated environment is a plus. Experience with GreatPlains. Intermediate Excel skills Procurement certifications (e.g., CPSM, CPP) are a plus #INNOV2025 #ZRCFS
