Amazon Devices and Services team designs and engineers high‑profile consumer electronics, including the best‑selling Eero products, Fire tablets, Fire TV, Amazon Dash, Ring, and Amazon Echo. With eero we aim to serve as the central nervous system of the home, evolving from Wi‑Fi to comprehensive, secure solutions that serve both wireless and wired connectivity needs for customers and businesses worldwide. Responsibilities
Lead the Eero Security team, setting and executing security strategy for consumer services and device security. Own the security risk posture for the full Eero product line, enabling the organization to deliver great and secure experiences. Define security requirements, build processes and mechanisms that continually raise the security bar for Amazon’s consumer products. Develop scalable solutions that meet business and customer needs. Partner with engineering, marketing, product management, legal, and business to integrate scalable security tools and controls into everyday work. Engage technical and non‑technical people, foster innovation, and motivate a diverse team of security engineers. Protect customers, ensuring designs and experiences uphold Amazon’s high bar for customer trust. A Day in the Life

Day‑to‑day you might analyze application code for vulnerabilities, build tools and frameworks that help developers work more securely, partner with engineering teams to integrate security into new architectures, conduct comprehensive security reviews, and collaborate with product managers to balance security requirements with exceptional user experiences. 10+ years of industry work with hands‑on security engineering experience 10+ years of risk assessment and enabling organizations to make security decisions 10+ years of team management and building, including coaching and mentoring 10+ years of communicating technical concepts to a non‑technical audience Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or a related field Preferred Qualifications
Knowledge of information security risk‑based prioritization Knowledge of information security technologies such as security design review, threat modeling, risk analysis, and software testing techniques Experience applying threat modeling or related risk identification techniques Experience architecting, securing, and operating Amazon Web Services Equal Opportunity Employment
