Base pay range $128,000.00 per year – $240,000.00 per year
We are looking for a Senior Software Engineer to join our team who will help build a cutting-edge technology platform to automate our loan process. On this team, you will implement new functionality, architect our system, squash bugs, maintain code health, and continually grow as an engineer. You will be involved in the entire product lifecycle, from ideation through building, testing, deploying, monitoring, and supporting mission‑critical systems. You’ll face and solve a wide range of challenges: technical, product, and operational, shaping your personal growth and career along the way, and helping mold and grow junior members of the team.
What you’ll do
Architect, design, and deliver scalable, highly available services
Own and ideate on technical solutions for product requirements and user stories
Participate heavily in code and design reviews
Generate ideas for new initiatives and technologies
Become a domain expert on the Lending business
Collaborate and represent engineering with outside stakeholders in product marketing, operations, business, legal, and compliance
Work in a fast-moving, highly collaborative environment across multiple offices
What you’ll need
Bachelor’s Degree in a technical field
5+ years programming experience, ideally on a modern stack
Experience with React, Java, Spring, PostgreSQL, or any modern JavaScript framework, REST APIs and relational databases
Willingness to roll up your sleeves, collaborate with others and get stuff done
Strong sense of responsibility and ownership; driving a project from inception to completion
Affinity for solving problems and diving deep into the details
Experience working in a collaborative coding environment, refining designs together, working through code reviews and managing pull requests
Nice to have
Experience with TypeScript, Kotlin, Kubernetes, Spring Boot, Webpack, cloud infrastructure and CI/CD
Compensation and Benefits The base pay range for this role is listed above. Final base pay offer will be determined based on individual factors such as the candidate’s experience, skills, and location.
