We are looking for a team-focused and dedicated

Senior Structural Engineer in Honolulu, HI . As a member of our team, you will work with our network of structural engineers responsible for conventional design and design/build projects for water and wastewater clients. You’ll lead and design facilities such as water and wastewater pump stations, treatment facilities for water and wastewater plants, and conveyance and storage systems. This role requires you to lead the development of project-specific technical reports, calculations, construction drawings, and technical specifications with support from local and national experts. You will have opportunities to grow through networking and internal mentorship programs and to work with a variety of smart and 3D software tools. Responsibilities

Lead development of project-specific technical reports, calculations, construction drawings and technical specifications with support of local and national experts. Collaborate with multi-discipline teams on water and wastewater design/build projects. Mentor junior staff and contribute to technical excellence. Qualifications

Minimum 10 years of experience as a structural engineer Professional Engineer (P.E.) license Structural Engineer (S.E.) license in Hawaii, or eligible to obtain license through reciprocity within six (6) months of hire Bachelor’s Degree in Civil Engineering with a structural engineering emphasis; Master’s degree in structural engineering highly desired Minimum 5 years experience with municipal or industrial water and wastewater treatment plants, pump stations, and conveyance systems Experience with structural design and analysis software (STAAD.PRO, TEDDS, SAP2000, RAM Elements, RAM Structural System, Mathcad) Experience with office programs (Word, Excel, OneNote, Teams) and review software (Bluebeam) Experience working in a multi-discipline project teams Team oriented with strong capability to learn, mentor, and work independently while managing time and budget Benefits
