GASTROENTEROLOGIST – NEPTUNE, NEW JERSEY Join Hackensack Meridian Health as a Gastroenterologist in the Department of Gastroenterology at Jersey Shore University Medical Center, Neptune, New Jersey. This full‑time faculty physician position offers clinical and academic responsibilities with comprehensive benefits.

Overview Responsible for providing exceptional care for patients with gastrointestinal conditions in a dynamic academic setting. Opportunities include hospitalist care, outpatient practice, and leadership in subspecialties such as inflammatory bowel disease, motility disorders, and IBD.

Key Positions

GI Hospitalist – care of hospitalized patients with GI conditions.

General GI/IBD Specialist – diagnose and treat inflammatory bowel diseases.

General GI/Motility Specialist – manage motility disorders.

General Outpatient GI Physician – provide outpatient GI care.

Highlights

Collaborative network of experienced physicians and support staff.

Eligibility for faculty appointment to Hackensack Meridian School of Medicine.

Involvement with medical students, residents, and fellows through lectures and procedures.

Requirements

M.D. or D.O. from an accredited medical or osteopathic school.

Board‑eligible or board‑certified in Internal Medicine and Gastroenterology.

Valid New Jersey medical license or ability to obtain one.

Hackensack Meridian Health supports H‑1B visas.

Compensation Minimum starting base salary: $376,443. The total rewards package includes health, dental, vision, tuition reimbursement, and retirement benefits. Compensation will be discussed during the interview.
