Overview Deliver Exceptional Care in an Award‑Winning Setting
We are seeking a board‑certified or board‑eligible OB Hospitalist to provide comprehensive inpatient obstetric care in a dynamic and supportive environment. This role is ideal for physicians who thrive in a collaborative setting and are passionate about improving maternal and neonatal outcomes.
Program Highlights
Level III NICU and Level III Perinatal Center
Level II Trauma Center, MedFlight services, and Maternal OB Transport Team
10 modern birthing suites; ~3 deliveries per 24‑hour shift; ~2,000 annual deliveries
Strong collaboration with a dedicated CNM practice of 7 providers
Responsibilities
Provide 24‑hour OB Hospitalist coverage, including triage, admissions, inpatient management, and deliveries
Work alongside neonatologists, maternal‑fetal medicine specialists, and certified nurse midwives
Collaborate with OB‑MFM physicians to manage high‑risk antepartum and intrapartum patients
Coordinate care with Pediatrix neonatologists to ensure optimal neonatal outcomes
Participate in teaching activities, clinical education, and mentorship
Contribute to clinical research and quality‑improvement initiatives in collaboration with Pediatrix and hospital research teams
Qualifications
Board‑eligible or board‑certified OB/GYN
Familiarity with a high‑volume, level‑III perinatal center preferred
