Hackensack Meridian Health, Ocean University Medical Center is seeking a BC/BE fellowship‑trained Neonatologist to join our Faculty Practice team in Brick, New Jersey. This is an exceptional opportunity to join a collegial group in a supportive environment and work with great colleagues and residents.
Opportunity Highlights
5‑bed level II special‑care nursery
In‑house coverage, 24 hours. On‑call 7‑8 times per month (including 2 weekends) depending on schedule.
Opportunity for level III coverage at K. Hovnanian Children’s Hospital at Jersey Shore University Medical Center.
Our level III children’s hospital averages 38‑44 daily census, with 4,000 deliveries and 700 NICU admissions per year.
Work with an experienced team of neonatologists, respiratory therapists, neonatal pharmacist and dietician, RNs, and support staff.
Collaborate with maternal‑fetal medicine service, surgical and subspecialty services.
Opportunity for academic appointment with Hackensack School of Medicine.
Research and quality improvement opportunities.
Participate in division’s educational lectures.
Requirements
Current New Jersey medical license
Board certified or board eligible in neonatology
Medical degree from a recognized medical school
Ability to interface effectively with professional personnel
Compensation $232,792
