This leader will define and drive next‑generation Salesforce capabilities purpose‑built for defense and intelligence missions — combining enterprise cloud, AI, analytics, and secure architectures to deliver high‑trust, high‑impact products.
Responsibilities
Define and execute vision, strategy, and roadmap for Missionforce product offerings — especially in Trust, Compliance, Security, Privacy, Scalability, Accessibility, and mission readiness.
Dive deeply into product/platform architecture to ensure it supports key requirements of defense/intelligence: secure cloud operations, AI/ML-enabled decision support, operational resilience.
Lead the definition, planning, and delivery of feature work and compliance efforts, coordinating across development, testing, UX/design, security, legal, and ops teams.
Collaborate closely with customers, partners, Forward Deployed Engineers (FDEs), User Experience (UX), and User Research & Insights teams to identify opportunities and validate solutions.
Define and execute the product strategy for Missionforce, including developing a new pricing and packaging model focused on customer outcomes.
Drive the go‑to‑market (GTM) strategy and execution for new products and features to ensure a successful launch.
Lead cross‑functional product launch activities, ensuring sales and marketing teams are equipped to drive adoption and revenue.
Enable intelligence & analytics capabilities to support logistics, personnel support, operations planning, decision making.
Evangelize product value internally—Salesforce teams, engineering, public sector leadership—and externally: government customers, prospects, events.
Establish and track clear success metrics; ensure visible progress every release toward closing gaps and maturing capabilities.
Qualifications
Proven ability to set a compelling product vision and lead cross‑functional teams to deliver in regulated, high‑stakes environments.
Experience building and executing 2 to 3‑year roadmaps that anticipate and respond to mission and market needs.
Deep knowledge of cloud technologies (IaaS, PaaS, SaaS), including hybrid models, multi‑cloud strategy, and secure cloud operations for government.
Strong background in AI/ML and analytics: using data to drive decisions in logistics, personnel, mission operations, etc.
Expertise in security, compliance, regulatory frameworks: RMF, DoD SRG, NIST 800‑53, as well as experience with DoD Cloud Access Point (CAP), Enterprise Email Security Gateway (EEMSG), etc.
Understanding of mission readiness: fast deployments, operational resilience, performance under constraints (latency, availability, scale) in austere or edge environments.
Experience with large‑scale data integration, processing, and derived insights in government or defense settings.
Ability to translate mission needs (e.g. logistics, intelligence, personnel) into product requirements/value propositions.
Strong experience in stakeholder management: aligning product, field teams, government customers, compliance/legal stakeholders.
Minimum 7+ years product management experience; significant leadership (Director or similar) strongly preferred.
