The Opportunity
This is a high-impact role reporting directly to the Chief Science Officer. You will work on frontier ML challenges, leveraging one of the largest egocentric video datasets in the world to design, train, and deploy VLMs that operate in dynamic, unstructured environments. The work spans foundational research through production deployment on both edge devices and cloud infrastructure. What You’ll Own
Architecting and training novel VLMs using large-scale multimodal data Leading research initiatives around fine-tuning, long-context modeling, and visual reasoning Building scalable training, evaluation, and deployment pipelines Developing lightweight edge-optimized models and high-capacity server-side models Driving benchmarks and metrics for spatial intelligence performance Partnering with robotics, data, and hardware teams on end-to-end system design What You Bring
3+ years of experience training large-scale deep learning models (transformers preferred) Strong background in Python and modern DL frameworks (PyTorch, TensorFlow, or JAX) Experience with large vision or multimodal datasets Solid engineering fundamentals and ability to own research end-to-end Bonus
Publications in top ML/CV venues, experience with fine-tuning LLMs/VLMs, edge model optimization, quantization, or long-video modeling Why This Role
