Minimum qualifications
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or equivalent practical experience.
15 years of experience in Technical Sales Engineering in a cloud computing environment or equivalent experience in a customer-facing technical/engineering role.
10 years of experience managing teams (e.g. manager of managers) while driving operations and management processes focused on performance of a consumption-based cloud business.
10 years of experience creating and managing scale-based pre and post sales technical strategies and programs focused on engineering-led organizations.
Preferred qualifications
MBA or Master's degree in Computer Science.
15 years of experience selling complex IT solutions to large companies.
Ability to engage and influence C-level relationships with executives both technical and non-technical.
Ability to lead with enthusiasm and flexibility in a fast-paced, constantly evolving team environment.
Ability to learn, understand, and work with new emerging technologies, methodologies, and solutions in the cloud/IT technology space.
About The Job As the Director of Google Cloud’s Customer Engineering, you will have a highly visible leadership role in a fast-growing, quick-moving area of Google’s business. You will drive the team to meet and exceed challenging growth targets while driving client satisfaction. You fully understand the technology of Google’s solutions in the enterprise space, and bring a strong operational approach to recruiting, coaching, and managing your team. In this role, you will have the opportunity to leverage entrepreneurial talents, and run the business autonomously while leveraging where the group fits into the broader organization.

The US base salary range for this full-time position is $224,000-$315,000 + bonus + equity + benefits. Our salary ranges are determined by role, level, and location. Within the range, individual pay is determined by work location and additional factors, including job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training. Responsibilities
Manage a team of Customer Engineering Managers to meet quarterly and annual business growth goals for the region by working with enterprise companies.
Recruit talent and coach the team with a focus on providing actionable, forthright feedback.
Create and drive innovative programs focused on achieving growth at scale. Work through and directly manage details in the business as required.
Work at executive level with customers/prospects and participate directly in the key accounts within the region.
Continue to inject operational accuracy into the organization. Lead the team and support accounts.
