Senior Product Manager — Product Detail Page (PDP) Location: Boston, MA Salary: $155,000 - $175,000

An Important Note about Wayfair's In-Office:

This is a hybrid role based in Boston, requiring you to work in the office on Tuesdays, Wednesdays, and Thursdays.

Overview As a Senior Product Manager for the Product Detail Page at Wayfair, you will own one of the most high-impact, high-visibility surfaces in the Wayfair shopping experience. The PDP is where customers make their final buying decision, and you will be responsible for defining and delivering a compelling, data‑driven, personalized, and highly performant experience that increases confidence and conversion across hundreds of millions of customer visits each year.

What You’ll Do Product Strategy & Vision

Develop and articulate a long‑term vision for the PDP that helps customers evaluate products with confidence.

Build a multi‑quarter roadmap that ties directly to Customer Tech OKRs, business strategy, and customer needs.

Identify high‑impact opportunities using quantitative insights (A/B tests, funnel analytics) and qualitative research.

Execution & Delivery

Lead feature development from ideation → specification → build → launch → iteration.

Write clear, thorough PRDs, feature specs, and success metrics.

Partner with engineering to make sharp trade‑offs and ensure high‑quality, on‑time delivery.

Manage A/B tests end‑to‑end and make decisions grounded in data.

Cross‑Functional Leadership

Serve as the PDP domain expert, influencing leaders across Storefront, Merch, Pricing, Search/Browse, and Supplier Experience.

Collaborate with UX and Research to craft intuitive, trustworthy, and accessible interfaces.

Work with Data Science to define ranking, personalization, and decision‑support improvements.

Customer & Business Impact

Improve conversion rate, attach rate, and post‑purchase satisfaction through clear product presentation.

Reduce friction in product evaluation through stronger descriptions, imagery, comparisons, and signal‑to‑noise improvements.

Drive a consistent, high‑quality PDP experience across platforms (app, mobile web, desktop).

What You’ll Own

The end‑to‑end PDP web and app customer experience across core UI modules (gallery, product info, personalization cues, delivery/availability, merchandising modules, social proof, reviews, similar items, bundles, etc.).

Experimentation pipeline and insights to continuously evolve the customer decision‑making journey.

Key metrics such as: conversion rate, bounce rate, add‑to‑cart, product understanding indicators, experience performance & accessibility.

We Are a Match Because You Have

8+ years experience in product management (consumer e‑commerce or highly scaled B2C preferred) with 1-2 years management experience.

Demonstrated success launching customer‑facing features that directly influence revenue.

Strong analytical skills and experience running A/B tests in a high-volume environment.

Excellent communication skills with the ability to influence across org levels.

Proven ability to define and execute a customer‑centric vision with measurable results.

Experience in retail, marketplace, or content‑heavy product surfaces.

Familiarity with personalization, ranking, or ML‑driven experiences.

Experience working closely with design and user research to shape customer journeys.

Comfort with technical discussions related to APIs, data flows, and front‑end architecture.
