A Raleigh-based private equity firm is seeking a Private Equity Senior Associate / Vice President to join its dynamic team. The firm specializes in lower-middle market investments across a diverse range of industries.
This is a unique opportunity to become part of a lean, highly acquisitive team, offering early and significant responsibility, hands‑on deal experience, and exposure to all aspects of the investment process.
Responsibilities
- Execution of broader market and industry research
- Financial modeling, valuation analysis, and returns analysis for various investment targets
- Take point on due diligence processes
- Monitor existing investment portfolio
- Assisting the team with operating / portfolio company work
Qualifications
- 1‑3 years of Investment Banking experience performing M&A with a reputable middle market or lower middle market bank
- 2‑6 years of Private Equity or buy‑side experience
- Bachelor's Degree
- Superior financial analysis, modeling, budgeting, and forecasting skills (there will be a modeling test)
- Excellent interpersonal skills and exceptional work ethic
- Prior experience or interest in sectors such as Financial services, as well as Software and Tech‑enabled services
