About the Position:
Our client, a top Am Law 50 firm with a sophisticated and global roster of clients, is actively seeking a private equity fund formation lawyer to join as an associate (3+ years of experience) the Investment Funds practice in its Chicago office. This practice is viewed as the go-to group for the most well-established global PE firms and asset management firms and advises the world’s most sophisticated fund sponsors and investors across the full spectrum of private capital managers.

Responsibilities:
· Advise private fund sponsors, investors, and joint venture participants in forming, investing in, and operating private investment funds
· Structure and negotiate fund agreements, fund arrangements and liquidity transactions
· Represent institutional investors on fund investments and related transactions

Required Qualifications:
· 3 or more years of experience in private equity fund formation and related fund operational matters
· Top academic credentials

Location:
Chicago, IL (Hybrid flexibility)

Compensation:
The anticipated base salary range for this position is $260,000+.
