Director of Corporate Financial Planning and Analysis
Base Pay Range
$141,000.00/yr - $180,000.00/yr
A nationally recognized retailer is seeking a Director of Corporate FP&A to lead enterprise-level financial planning, forecasting, and analytical support. This role will serve as a strategic partner to senior leadership and cross-functional teams, helping drive financial insights and decision‑making across the organization. The Director of Corporate FP&A will also drive governance of corporate planning processes in support of monthly results and forecast, long‑range projections, and investor and Board presentations.
What You’ll Do
- Lead annual budgeting and monthly forecasting processes
- Consolidate enterprise‑wide financial plans and performance results
- Support long‑range planning, corporate capital planning, and investment analysis, with the foundation of 3‑statement financial modeling
- Develop financial models to support business initiatives, operational performance, and strategic decision‑making
- Support quarterly financial reporting, presentations, and communications for internal and external stakeholders
- Enhance forecasting tools, models, and reporting systems
- Lead headcount and corporate functions expense planning & analysis
- Provide analytical insight into company performance, risks, and opportunities
- Manage and develop a small team of analysts
- Drive improvements across financial processes, reporting cadence, and planning accuracy
What We’re Looking For
- Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Business, or related field (MBA preferred, CPA a plus)
- 10+ years of progressive experience in FP&A, with corporate finance a must
- Strong modeling skills and advanced proficiency in Excel and PowerPoint
- Experience with planning/reporting tools (Adaptive, MicroStrategy, Multiview, Power BI, or similar)
- Solid understanding of corporate finance and accounting fundamentals
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to synthesize large data sets
- Experience presenting to senior leadership and supporting enterprise‑level decisions
- Proven ability to lead and develop teams
- Strong communication skills, both written and verbal
- Ability to manage multiple priorities and work in a fast‑paced environment
- Located in the DFW area and able to travel periodically as needed
- Highly analytical, detail‑oriented, and organized
- Goal‑oriented and committed to delivering results in time‑sensitive or high‑impact situations
