Job Details

The Senior Commercial Property Accountant plays a vital role in ensuring accurate financial reporting and effective vendor management for multiple commercial entities. Key responsibilities include:

  • Preparing monthly financial statements, ensuring data integrity through recording, verifying, consolidating, and analyzing transactions.
  • Establishing and enforcing robust accounting methods, policies, and principles for commercial properties.
  • Managing cash receipts, lease abstracts, move‑outs, security deposits, rent rolls, delinquency reports, and accounts payable coding.
  • Conducting bank reconciliations, calculating property management fees, and overseeing CAM estimates, reforecasts, and reconciliations.
  • Reviewing financial statements, managing client distributions/contributions, and overseeing general accounting functions.
  • Maintaining cash records, performing cash management tasks, and collaborating with property managers and accounting team members.
  • Conducting CAM reconciliations using various tools, including MRI, Kardin, and Excel.
  • Managing external audits, maintaining property documentation, and overseeing vendor relationships with MRI and RentPayment.com.
  • Interfacing with clients and external parties, training junior staff, and undertaking other assigned duties.
