Overview
Wesley Medical Center is seeking a PA or NP for the ECMO Coordinator role to oversee the needs and growth of our ECMO program in Wichita, Kansas.
Responsibilities
- Work collaboratively with critical care physicians and cardiothoracic surgeon to manage and grow the ECMO program.
- Consult with other providers to determine whether a patient is appropriate for ECMO therapy.
- Align the ECMO program with evidence-based clinical guidance to safeguard quality and patient safety.
- Educate patients and families about ECMO and related care.
- Conduct documentation reviews.
Qualifications
- Practicing PA or NP .
- Critical Care experience required; leadership experience preferred.
- Knowledgeable in educating patients and families.
- Role involves collaborating with critical care physicians and cardiothoracic surgeons to manage and grow the ECMO program.
